On the left bank of the Krymza River stands a red-brick building with a high attic wall, which is part of a merchant estate. It belonged to the Grishechkin merchants, but they did not live there; instead, they used it as a rental property. The architecture of the building is characterized by restraint and severity. The facade facing the street has a symmetrical composition with a large doorway and transom. Three-quarter columns with cubic capitals give the building a sense of solidity. A distinctive feature is the narrow terrace that wraps around the house, above which an additional floor was added at the corner of the courtyard facade. Thanks to this design, the building appeared one-story from the street side and two-story from the courtyard side. Entrance to the house was possible from the courtyard.

The history of the building dates back to the late 19th century. At that time, the house had three apartments with seven rooms totaling 132 square meters. For the convenience of residents, there were a shed, cellars, a stable, a warehouse, and a canopy in the courtyard. Three years after the revolution, the building was confiscated from the Grishechkins. In 1921, it was listed as number 145 in the inventory of municipalized property and required major repairs, as the owner had left, fleeing with the whites. Since the mid-20th century, the house has been used as a residence again. Currently, the building serves commercial purposes.
