The Kovalevsky estate in the village of Yutanovka is a unique example of a rural manor. This building in the provincial modern style was constructed in the early 20th century by Yevgraf Petrovich Kovalevsky, who played an important role in the public life of Russia, serving as a deputy in two convocations of the State Duma and being the author of a project on universal education.

The Kovalevsky family, over its three-hundred-year history, achieved significant success in literature, science, and art. The family actively participated in the public life of the country and did not remain aloof from the wars occurring in Russia in the 16th and 19th centuries. The Kovalevskys were closely connected with outstanding cultural figures, and Yevgraf Petrovich, while serving as the Minister of Public Education, allowed the publication of T. G. Shevchenko's "Kobzar."

Today, the Kovalevsky estate holds historical value and is recognized as a cultural heritage site of Russia. For a long time, the building was in poor condition, and until the late 1970s, it housed a rural school. Only in 2008 was the house granted the status of a regional cultural heritage site, and in 2015, its reconstruction began, costing about 20 million rubles. The Kovalevsky estate is now a two-story mansion that preserves the history of the noble family and allows visitors to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of the early 20th century.
