Kosheleva Estate

Фото 1
Currently, this architecturally beautiful building houses the Lenin District Court. After extensive restoration, it is hard to recognize the former urban estate of the 19th century.

Originally, the estate building, constructed in the 19th century near the Polish church on Lekarskaya Street, was two stories tall. In 1903, it was purchased by Anna Alexandrovna Kosheleva for the purpose of housing apartments. During the Soviet era, the building was handed over to the city for use as a hospital, and at that time it received a third floor and a corridor system.

Until recently, the former Kosheleva estate housed an ophthalmology clinic. However, the building had significantly deteriorated and was taken out of service. A decision was made to restore it, as it is a monument of architecture. After the renovation, the building acquired a new look while preserving elements of the decor of the old estate.
