The Ivanovskoye-Bezobrazovo estate, the ancestral home of the Bezobrazov family, is located on the banks of the Lama River near Volokolamsk.

The architectural ensemble was likely created by a serf architect in the second half of the 18th century at the request of the military commissioner M.O. Bezobrazov. During this time, important structures such as a church, wings, and the manor house, which became the central element of the entire complex, were built.

Initially, the building was one-story and adorned with rich decor in the Baroque style, with facades featuring ornate white stone trim.

The estate was passed down from father to son, and in the 19th century, its owner became Alexander Mikhailovich Bezobrazov, a significant statesman who played a role in the deterioration of relations between Russia and Japan, leading to the Russo-Japanese War.

During this period, the house was raised to two stories, the lavish decor was removed, and the facades were designed in the Classical style; a water tower also appeared in the courtyard.

After the revolution, the buildings were used as a technical school, and now the estate complex is on the verge of complete destruction.
