In 1684, the lands were granted to servicemen with the surname Stepanov. By 1710, there were two manor houses on these lands, and by 1795, there were three, all wooden.

In the mid-19th century, landowner V.M. Kugusheva built a house with outbuildings and laid out a park. Later, the estate passed into the ownership of A.V. Bitsky, a native of the Baltics and a trusted person of the princess.

The main house is a one-story brick building with a mezzanine. Its architecture is eclectic, combining elements of late mature classicism and stylized forms of ancient Russian architecture. The estate had a park, from which linden alleys, lilac bushes, and several apple trees have survived.

An advertisement for the sale of A.V. Bitsky's estate appeared in the newspaper "Penza Provincial Gazette" on May 10, 1910. The plot was valued at 24,000 rubles. It was located 20 versts from the district town, 7 versts from the volost administration and post station, and 15 versts from the railway station.

The following buildings were for sale on the plot: a stone house with a mezzanine, covered with iron, a wooden stable with two sheds, covered with shingles, another wooden stable, a cellar lined with oak, a wooden wing, covered with iron, and a shed, covered with shingles.

For a long time, the house was in good condition, but later it was boarded up and abandoned. Many windows were broken, and the condition of the building deteriorated. In 2016, due to vandalism, a fire occurred in the building. The roof collapsed, and all wooden structures burned down. Inside, there was previously an office of the "Stepanovsky" state farm, which was later closed. Agricultural literature, accounting journals, and other waste paper remained from the office. Now all the windows in the building are boarded up with iron sheets.
