The stone church, dedicated to the Holy Trinity, was built in 1852 with funding from landowner Alexandra Dmitrievna Bogdanova. At the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th century, a wooden bell tower was erected nearby, which has not survived to this day.

The church is located on the outskirts of a dying village and has lost all five domes; its completion is now represented by octagonal drums. The architecture of the church features a centralized cross-shaped composition. A rectangular apse is attached to the massive central part of the building from the east, while three other sides have projections with entrances. These protruding parts are topped with large kokoshniks with a keel-like rise, which contain semicircular niches opening inward through openings. They likely served as a kind of loudspeakers, spreading the church singing from the choir far into the surroundings. The volumetric-spatial composition and decor of the church allow its architecture to be classified as Russian-Byzantine style.

It is possible to enter the interior, but instead of a foundation, crypts have been dug, so caution is advised. The frescoes and paintings have not survived. Three spiral staircases lead to the upper niches, and there is also a spiral staircase at the entrance leading to the crypt.
