The historic buildings of the Apakov tram depot are located on Shabolovka Street. The total area of the depot structures is 20,500 square meters. This complex of buildings represents significant historical and cultural value. In particular, the main building of the depot (building 1) was constructed according to a design by Vladimir Shukhov and is a unique monument of industrial architecture from the early 20th century. The tram depot, opened in 1909 under the name Zamoskvoretsky Tram Park, is the oldest enterprise of urban electric transport in Moscow.
