Maroseyka, 12, former home of the Triangle Society of Russian-American Rubber Manufacturing. If you closely examine the old photograph, you can notice this inscription on the building's pediment.

The building was constructed in 1915 as the office of the Moscow branch of the Triangle. It was designed by Marian Stanislavovich Lyalevich, creating a somewhat gloomy yet beautiful architecture that resembles St. Petersburg more than Moscow's merchant houses. Construction was completed shortly before the revolution, and the building was hardly used for its intended purpose.

In 1918, the Triangle was nationalized and renamed the Red Triangle. The building housed the management of the Rubber Trust, later it accommodated the apparatus of the People's Commissariat of Chemical Industry and the People's Commissariat of Rubber Industry, and then it served as the meeting place for the Ministry of Machine Engineering of the USSR. Currently, it houses one of the power agencies of the Russian Federation.
