The preserved building in the Yashkino estate, known as "Teremok", once belonged to the Golitsyn family. It was built in the neo-Russian style, which combines elements of ancient Russian architecture with later architectural solutions. This architectural monument was erected between 1801 and 1803.

The Golitsyn family is one of the oldest noble families in Russia, with connections to both the Rurik dynasty and the Romanov dynasty. Among the numerous representatives of this family, Nikolai Emmanuilovich and Vladimir Emmanuilovich Golitsyn were associated with Dubna. After the death of their father, when the brothers were 13 and 8 years old, their guardian became their uncle Nikolai Gordeev. He owned the Yashkino estate and left it to the Golitsyns, as he had no children of his own.

For the Golitsyns, the estate in Yashkino served as a sort of resort dacha, where they primarily came in the summer. This place was distinguished by its unusual buildings, executed in various styles. The "Teremok" was particularly remarkable, and the estate even grew palm trees.
