The Sun Historical and Local History Museum was founded in 1996. The museum features permanent exhibitions such as "The Life of a Peasant Family," which showcases collections of peasant household items from the 19th and 20th centuries made of wood, metal, and glass. Visitors can also see decorative and applied arts crafted by local artisans, including pottery, hand weaving, embroidery, wickerwork, lace-making, and patchwork.

The exhibition "Sons Loyal to the Fatherland" is dedicated to the memory of local residents who participated in the Great Patriotic War. It includes photographs of veterans and items from the war years brought by participants of the All-Russian Memory Watch. The museum also has two permanent stands: "Cabinet of Curiosities, Rarities, and Oddities" and "Vyatka Artistic Crafts."

The museum offers both group and individual tours. It also provides research services and assistance in preparing reports, coursework, and creative works, including paid options. Additionally, the museum participates in an inter-district festival dedicated to the memory of A.V. Galitsky, a renowned zemstvo doctor and chess composer.
