In Lyskov, a large Old Believer community existed as early as the 19th century. The restoration of the community began in the early 1980s thanks to the efforts of German Viktorovich Barmine. For a long time, prayers were held in the house of G. Barmine and other believers. The construction of the church only began in the late 1990s, and on December 10, 1999, Metropolitan of Moscow and All Russia Alimpiy Gusev blessed its construction.

In the spring of 2013, the construction of the brick church was fully completed. On August 7, the church was consecrated by Metropolitan Korniliy, with the participation of Bishop Euphemius of Kazan and Vyatka, Archpriest Mikhail Shashkov, and other clergy.
