Spaso-Sumorin Monastery, located in the city of Totma in the Vologda region on the banks of the Pesya Denga River, is a male monastery of the Veliky Ustyug Diocese of the Russian Orthodox Church. It was founded in 1554 by the Venerable Theodosius of Totma, who arrived here from the Vologda Spaso-Prilutsky Monastery, and was originally called the Spaso-Transfiguration Monastery.

From 1685 to 1689, the first stone church, the Transfiguration Church, was built in the Totem district. In 1880, it was renovated, increasing its height, adding a two-story porch, and updating the interior decoration.

Between 1796 and 1825, the Ascension Church was built, in the upper church of which unique frescoes created by the outstanding Vologda artist of the second half of the 19th century, Platon Tyurin, have been preserved.

Since 1832, the Dedovskaya Trinity Desert, located on Dedov Island in the Sukhona River and founded in 1676, has been attached to the monastery. In 1870, a church dedicated to the Assumption of the Mother of God was built on the site of one of the monastery's wall towers.
