The Church of the Exaltation of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord is part of the cathedral complex on Trefoleva Street. It was built in 1825 with funds from the parishioners. This stone building has one dome. The church has three altars: in honor of the Exaltation of the Honorable and Life-Giving Cross of the Lord, Saint Nicholas, Archbishop of Myra in Lycia, the Miracle Worker, and Saint John Chrysostom. In the late 19th century, a church-parish charity was organized at the cathedral. During the Soviet era, the church building was used as an office for a bread factory.
