The stone summer church of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ with a stone bell tower was built in 1669, when there was a men's monastery here. It contains altars dedicated to the Resurrection of Jesus Christ and the holy prophet Elijah. The stone winter church was erected in 1681 with funds from the monastery. Its altars are dedicated to the Theophany of the Lord at the Jordan, the Mother of God in honor of the Feast of the Entry into the Temple of Jerusalem, and the holy Great Martyr Demetrius of Thessalonica.

The Resurrection Church is the first church in Soligalich. Its foundation in 1332 by Prince Fyodor Semyonov marked the beginning of the city itself.

The clergy of the church includes a priest, a deacon, a church clerk, and a sexton. The amount of land associated with the church is not established, and there are no documents for it. However, according to the spiritual testament of Fyodor Ivanovich Agapitov, 190 desyatins of land from the forest estate have been permanently allocated for the church clergy.

The parish includes 453 men and 539 women, totaling 110 households. The parish consists of 24 settlements located within 12 versts from the church.
