In 1865, the construction of a new five-domed three-altar church in honor of the Holy Trinity began, but due to a fire, the work was delayed for 20 years. The side chapels were dedicated to the Tikhvin Mother of God and John the Baptist, originally to Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker. In 1930, the church was destroyed.
