On August 31, 2006, on the day of the celebration of the Placement of the Honorable Belt of the Most Holy Theotokos, Archbishop Georgy of Nizhny Novgorod and Arzamas consecrated the main altar of the restored cathedral in honor of the Savior Not Made by Hands at the Kutuzovskaya Bogoroditsky Skete of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery and conducted the Divine Liturgy. The clergy of the Serafimo-Diveevsky Monastery and the Kulebak Deanery participated in the service. The ceremony was attended by the abbess of the monastery, Igumenia Sergiya, with the singing sisters, the sisters of the Kutuzovskaya Skete, benefactors, guests, and pilgrims from Nizhny Novgorod, Kulebaki, and nearby villages.
