The brick two-story Church of the Intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary was founded in 1825, and construction was completed in 1836. In the summer of 1841, the construction of the fence with the Holy Gates was completed, which served as the lower floor of the bell tower. From 1866 to 1879, extensions were added to the church. The building, in the classical style with one large dome, is adorned with a decorative five-domed structure. The wall painting was done by artist P. Shubnikov, and his student P. V. Mogilerov later worked on repairs and renovations. In 1919, the church and monastery were closed by the authorities, and in 1954 the church was blown up. In 2005, new construction of the church began, which was completed in 2012. Services are now regularly held in the church.
