A large brick church, built in the style of provincial classicism, was constructed in 1802. This four-pillar building features porticos with semi-columns, topped with a large central drum with arched windows and four blind corner drums. The refectory is connected to a three-tiered bell tower. The church has side chapels dedicated to the Forerunner and Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker.

The church was closed no later than the 1930s, its domes were destroyed, and the building was used as a factory workshop. In 1994, the church was returned to the faithful and underwent restoration.
