In the center of the city stands the majestic Epiphany Cathedral, construction of which began in 2006. The cathedral was designed by architects Shemetov V.I. and Deichinenko A. The first service in the church took place on January 19, 2008, on the feast day. The consecration of the cathedral occurred on September 20, 2009, conducted by Metropolitan German of Volgograd and Kamyshin. The church features five domes, and its basement houses a conference hall. The area around the cathedral impresses with its originality, featuring an unusual playground at its walls.
