'Good Angel of Peace' is not just an architectural and park complex, but a symbol of kindness and purity.

In most cities, monuments are erected in honor of heroes, famous individuals, and historical events, but monuments in gratitude for good deeds are rare.

The grand opening of the architectural and sculptural composition 'Good Angel of Peace' in Krasnodar took place on September 25, 2011, as part of the city’s Day celebrations.

The sculpture is located in the City Garden. The two-meter figure of the angel rises on a column 9 meters high.

Krasnodar became the thirtieth city in the world to have the Good Angel. With its installation, the capital of Kuban gained the status of 'City Where Kindness and Humanism Reign.' Such monuments can also be seen in Moscow, Tolyatti, Samara, and Orenburg in Russia.

The composition was created by the renowned Kuban sculptor Alexander Apollonov and artist Pyotr Stronsky.

On the day of the opening, according to the program 'Relay of Cities with the Good Angel of Peace,' Krasnodar was awarded the international status of 'City of Peace,' as well as the highest award in the field of peacekeeping and creation, the Order of Peace. The mayor of the city was presented with a symbolic key to the architectural and sculptural composition 'Good Angel of Peace,' the flag of the 'Relay of Cities with the Good Angel of Peace,' and a miniature copy of the Good Angel.
