The monument to the film festival 'Golden Drum' depicts the Golden Goddess playing a drum. This film festival was founded in 1996, and in 2000, a monument in the form of a woman with a drum was installed in front of the district television and radio company 'Yugra' in Khanty-Mansiysk.

The history of the monument is closely linked to the telefestival. Every year, on the eve of the anniversary of the formation of Yugra, 'Golden Drum' gathered guests in Khanty-Mansiysk for the northern teleforum. Dozens of television studios from the district and other regions of the country competed for the right to receive the festival prize, the statuette of the Golden Goddess of Yugra.

However, after the change of governor in 2009, the festival was closed, and the monument disappeared. In the summer of 2014, it was reopened in Boris Losev Park. The image of the woman remained the same, but the pedestal became slightly smaller and without the inscription of the festival's name.
