A sculpture of Lieutenant Rzhevsky has been installed in front of our hotel, created by sculptor Konstantin Girev. It is made of solid cast iron at the Kaslin Iron Foundry LLC "Stone Belt".

Initially, the sculpture was presented in a reduced scale and approved by us. Then it was sculpted from plasticine, a gypsum model was made, and finally, it was cast in iron using a special sand mold, with sand sourced exclusively from the city of Kasli.

Now this interactive monument delights the eyes of guests and passersby at the entrance to our hotel "Art Hotel Lieutenant Rzhevsky", located in the Adler district, in the very center of the Olympic Park in Sochi.

Similar monuments exist in other cities, such as Minsk, Kursk, Dolgoprudny, Pavlograd, and Rzhev. However, our monument stands out for its naturalism and life-size representation, conveying the emotionality and energy of that era.
