The monument 'Assol and Scarlet Sails' is inspired by Alexander Grin's work 'Scarlet Sails'. The two-meter figure of Assol is located next to a flowerbed designed in the shape of 'Scarlet Sails', which appeared a year before the installation of the girl's sculpture. Assol is depicted with a scarf in her hand, gazing into the sea distance in anticipation of her captain. The author of this sculpture is Dmitry Lyndin, a sculptor from Rostov-on-Don.

Assol looks at the sky over the sea, waiting for the arrival of the ship with scarlet sails. She holds a scarf in her left hand and waves with her right.
