The hermitage of St. Seraphim of Sarov in the Kursk Root Monastery is located on the grounds of the monastery's economic yard. Its establishment was completed in the 1990s under the guidance of Metropolitan Juvenaly (Tarasov).

The hermitage is situated one kilometer south of the monastery, along the river. There is also a small livestock farm operating here. The hermitage is well-known among many believers due to the "prayers for the sick" conducted since 1999 by Hieromonk Benjamin (Korolev).
