The Poshchupovo toy got its name from the village of Poshchupovo, where it was created by the Ivanov family of artists. Its uniqueness lies in the special properties of the local clay, which has high plasticity and comes in various shades: black, white, and red. For many years, the villagers made pottery from this clay, while ochre was used for painting churches.

The main achievement of the Ivanov family is the combination of slipware ceramics with original matte painting. Each toy is created and molded by the artist themselves, making it unique. In the Poshchupovo Toy Museum, the exhibition is arranged so that each exhibit can be admired for hours. It is especially popular among children, who are delighted by the amusing figures of animals such as cats, dogs, hedgehogs, piglets, hares, and mice. Each figure has its own special character and 'outfit.' The Poshchupovo toy brings joy and exclusively positive emotions.
