The Siberian Memorial Art Gallery is located in five exhibition halls of the famous Stock Apartment House, built in 1937 according to the design of Andrei Kryachkov. This building is recognized as a world architectural masterpiece and is one of the main symbols of Novosibirsk.

The gallery first opened its doors to visitors on May 8, 2017, on the eve of the 72nd anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War. It gained the status of an independent cultural institution on March 30, 2018.

In the bright and cozy halls of the gallery, there is an exhibition of paintings by the People's Artist of Russia, Veniamin Karpovich Chebanov. The central exhibit is a diorama painting dedicated to the battle of the Siberian Volunteer Division against the German-fascist invaders at the Rzhev-Vyazma bridgehead.

Chebanov's works are valuable because he was a direct witness to the events of the most difficult war in the country's history. Veniamin Karpovich, the only battle artist and participant in the Great Patriotic War, is a member of the Novosibirsk branch of the Union of Artists of Russia.

The gallery hosts thematic tours, lectures about artists, creative meetings, master classes, events, celebrations, round tables, debates, patriotic quests, and other activities for visitors. An art studio for children is also available.
