Fish Rows in Kostroma

Фото 1
In 2010, the Fish Rows building became part of the Kostroma Museum-Reserve. It was built in the early 19th century as part of the Trading Buildings complex, which included 19 other structures. The Fish Rows is a two-story rectangular building with a semi-basement.

Today, the Fish Rows house creative studios and an art gallery where contemporary artists display their works. In 2018, the cultural and exhibition complex "Museum Courtyard" was opened here. One of the buildings of the Fish Rows is dedicated to folk art. It contains a pottery workshop and exhibitions featuring folk art items such as wooden spoons, boxes, birch bark containers, and lace.
