The history of the Russian Center of Arizona as an independent non-profit charitable organization for the Russian-speaking community of the state began in 2000. At that time, a small group of enthusiasts from Phoenix decided to create a Russian House of Culture for local residents. Back then, Russian-speaking immigrant families were scattered throughout the valley in small groups and separated by significant distances.

Today, the Russian Center of Arizona is engaged in teaching international Russian culture and art, organizing traditional Russian events, supporting the organization of traditional leisure activities, and helping to overcome language barriers by teaching English and Russian.
