The vestibule of the main post office in New York, built in 1912, is adorned with the official emblems of the countries that founded the Universal Postal Union. Therefore, on the ceiling, one can see a large copy of the Russian imperial eagle. However, today this surprises many native New Yorkers who are seeing it for the first time.
