The Russian nursing home, located at the main Russian cemetery in France, Saint Genevieve des Bois, was founded in 1927 on the estate of Kossonri. It is managed by the Association of the Russian Home, and its founder and first president was Princess Vera Kirillovna Meshcherskaya.

In 2010, the Government of the Russian Federation allocated 700 thousand euros for the renovation of the building to create a center for the study of Russian emigration. Currently, 80 residents live in the home.
