The Russian Children's Center of Arizona has been operating for over 20 years. Its official website states that the center aims to educate knowledgeable, well-rounded, and cultured students who will become successful in the future. Language, an important part of our rich and wonderful culture, is something the center wants children living in America to connect with Russian culture and speak the language of their ancestors. In addition to weekly classes, traditional Russian holidays such as New Year and Maslenitsa are celebrated here. The children's puppet theater delights with its performances, and educational seminars are held in the Russian Art Gallery in the fall, which both children and their parents enjoy attending. The center actively develops its traditions, including singing and dancing. The dance group has participated in city community events multiple times.
