The school focuses on the study of the Russian language and literature. It also teaches speech development, natural sciences, music, visual arts, and Russian as a foreign language. Seminars on Russian history are held, and a theater studio has recently started.

The school organizes shifts in children's camps, where various creative activities and competitions take place. There is also a "Club of Interesting Meetings," which holds sessions once a month on Sundays from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM in Russian. Each meeting is preceded by tea and informal communication.

Anna Krushelnitskaya, one of the teachers at the Ann Arbor school, shares her experience: "I have been working in the field of foreign language education and educational testing for over 11 years. I have experience working with schoolchildren and students, both in groups and individually, in Russia and America. I have taught Russian and English, as well as the Beijing variant of Chinese. It is important for me that there is a thriving Russian school in Ann Arbor, as I have two daughters who do not have enough annual trips to Russia to maintain their language level. It is wonderful that they can now benefit from the experience and support of the school's teachers, and I am glad to have the opportunity to share my knowledge with those who are learning Russian as a foreign language."
