Residents of Ufa and visitors to the city can visit the Republican Museum of Military Glory, located in Victory Park. Nearby are memorial plaques honoring Alexander Matrosov and Minigali Gubaidullin, heroes who closed enemy pillboxes with their bodies. These attractions form a unified memorial complex dedicated to the heroism of the Russian and Bashkir people in the Great Patriotic War.

The Museum of Military Glory actively participates in the life of the city. Visitors coming here on Museum Night can see "living exhibits," listen to songs from the war years, and watch footage from military chronicles.

Every year on May 9, festive events take place in Victory Park, and the museum opens its doors for free to all who wish to visit.

The museum was opened in 2000 in honor of the 55th anniversary of the Great Victory. Its two-story building, resembling a warship, harmoniously fits into the exhibition of military equipment located nearby.

The museum is equipped with a cinema hall for 70 seats, where seminars, meetings with veterans, and other events are held. Guided tours, thematic lectures, and documentary film screenings are organized for visitors. The building is equipped to accommodate people with disabilities.

The exhibition begins even before entering the museum, where Soviet military equipment is displayed outdoors: armored personnel carriers, artillery and anti-tank guns, anti-aircraft guns, and tanks, including the legendary T-34-85.

Inside the museum, there is a rich collection of household items, weapons, clothing, documents, and photographs from the Great Patriotic and Afghan wars.

A special highlight is the "Touch History" stand with front-line letters typed in Braille, allowing visually impaired visitors to connect with the history of the war years.

The first exhibition is dedicated to Bashkir soldiers who participated in the Afghan war. At its center is a diorama of Soviet soldiers climbing a mountain, surrounded by memorial inscriptions from combat participants. The exhibition is complemented by stands featuring awards, photographs, weapons, and uniforms from that time.

Nearby, one can see a scene of a wife bidding farewell to her husband, the interior of a village house, and an authentic cannon from the Great Patriotic War.

In the center of the main hall on the first floor is a granite pedestal shaped like a map of the Republic of Bashkortostan.

Attention is also given to the workers at the home front. Stands display household items and documents telling about the assistance provided to front-line soldiers. One of the main parts of the exhibition is a collection of military letters donated to the museum by residents. These letters were eagerly awaited during the war, both at the front and at home.

In memory of the workers' heroism, a factory machine with a wax figure of a worker and an aircraft engine assembled at a Ufa factory is installed in the central hall. The aviation engine was found in the Leningrad region more than half a century after the war. Next to it stands a GAZ-67 vehicle.

The exhibits on the second floor preserve the memory of events at the front. One of the dioramas depicts a soldier writing his name on the wall of the Reichstag. One of the halls is dedicated to firearms, showcasing revolvers, rifles, submachine guns, and machine guns, including the famous Maxim machine gun. On the walls of the floor are posters from World War I, portraits of Soviet commanders, and several paintings.

Among the exhibits is a lot of military uniforms of the defenders of the Fatherland, including the flight parade uniform of Musa Gareev, twice Hero of the Soviet Union and commander of an air regiment.
