The First North Caucasian Olympics took place on June 28, 1915, in Novorossiysk at the market area. The event was initiated by the football club "Olympia." Athletes from Yekaterinodar, Novorossiysk, and Stavropol participated in the competitions. The Olympic program included 12 sports.
