A monument to Valentin Mindovsky, the city's renowned greening expert who created this square, has been installed in Triangle Square. Thanks to his efforts in the 1940s and 1950s, Berezniki was repeatedly recognized as the best city in the RSFSR for greening. Valentin Leonidovich led the Berezniki 'Gorzelenstroy' for a long time and became a co-author of the 'nursery-park' greening method. The monument, popularly known as 'the man-tree', was unveiled in 2013, created by sculptor Yuri Ustinov. About 30 years ago, the former Zelenstroy Street was renamed in honor of Mindovsky.
