The monument to the Holy Blessed Prince Peter and Princess Fevronia of Murom was unveiled on July 8, 2015, in the historical center of "Old Surgut" thanks to the initiative of Elena and Andrey Kopaygor, who were celebrating their silver wedding anniversary.

Peter and Fevronia are known as the patrons of family and marriage, and their union is considered a model of Christian marriage. The monument is located at the entrance to the Church of All Saints, in the land of Siberian Saints. The architect was Evgeny Skvortsov, and the sculptors were Denis Prasolov and Pavel Ignatiev from St. Petersburg. The bronze composition was cast in the Moscow region.

The monument harmoniously fits into the setting, reminiscent of a village hut made of larch and oak. It is a symbol of love, established near a temple that is a holy place for Orthodox Christians. Here, under the white birches, lies the centuries-old history of Surgut. Traditionally, newlyweds come here on their wedding day, as well as couples with experience in family life.

The sculptures of Peter and Fevronia are depicted sitting on a bench. Sculptors Denis Prasolov and Pavel Ignatiev conveyed the everyday life of Orthodox Russia through this image.
