In Yaroslavl, a monument was erected in 1995 to commemorate the 1000th anniversary of the Baptism of Rus. It is located on Cathedral Hill near the Assumption Cathedral and is based on the icon of the Holy Trinity painted by Andrei Rublev in 1427.

The Monument to the Holy Trinity is a sculptural composition of three angels sitting at a table, at the center of which is a bowl with the head of a calf. The figures of the angels are executed simply, without detailed elaboration, with disproportionate body sizes. The angels have large bodies and small heads, but they are elongated, which gives the composition lightness and elevation. The sculptures are set on a large diameter round granite pedestal, around the contour of which biblical texts are inscribed in bronze Old Russian letters. This monument is the only one in Russia dedicated to the Holy Trinity.
