Monuments to the great Russian poet Alexander Pushkin, known worldwide, are installed not only in Russia but also abroad. One of these monuments is located in Cyprus, in the city of Limassol, on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea, near the main gates of the central park on the main alley.

This monument was unveiled on December 2, 2000, in honor of the 200th anniversary of the birth of the outstanding poet. It was created by the renowned sculptor Alexander Belashov.
