The monument to the residents of Yekaterinodar who perished in the Civil War in Russia was unveiled on November 7, 1998, on the central alley of Gorky Park. On this day, the solemn opening of the monument "Reconciliation and Accord" took place, dedicated to the peaceful citizens and soldiers who suffered in the flames of the Civil War, regardless of their side and beliefs.

Two wings, seven meters tall, rise above a granite slab, on which a Budenovka and a Papakha rest in a golden wreath, symbols of the Red and White armies. Now, eight decades after the end of the Civil War, the residents of Krasnodar honor the memory of both sides. The authors of the monument are architect A. Gurin and sculptor A. Kornaev.
