The Monument to the Founders of Khanty-Mansiysk is located in Khanty-Mansiysk, in Freedom Square, at the entrance to the Pokrov of the Holy Virgin temple complex. The monument was ceremoniously unveiled in 2010. It is dedicated to the development of Siberian lands, as well as to the people who have long inhabited these territories and engaged in the exploration of the northern expanses.

The composition of the monument features sculptural images of the Khanty prince Samara and the voivode Ivan Mansurov, symbolizing the envoys of the Russian state and the leaders of the indigenous peoples of Siberia. The sculpture is topped with a large arch known as the 'Gateway to Siberia.'

The monument is made of bronze and reaches a total height of 16 meters. The visual concept was developed by the Yekaterinburg Art Fund, and the project was handled by the renowned local sculptor V. Mosilev.
