In the summer of 2013, a monument called 'Bathing the Horse' was unveiled in Rostov-on-Don, created by the renowned sculptor Anatoly Sknyarin. The sculptor had long nurtured the idea for this monument and was pleased to bring it to life. The composition is made of bronze and is located in a green square near the river terminal. It is also referred to as 'Summer'.

The monument depicts a barefoot, thin boy sitting on a horse. The horse is cast up to half of its body and is mounted on a granite pedestal that mimics a water surface. The boy has a calm expression on his face, enjoying the sunlight while his faithful horse drinks water. Anyone can sit next to the low pedestal and take a memorable photo.
