On June 6, on the feast day of Blessed Xenia of Petersburg, a monument to the saint was unveiled in Voronezh. The sculpture was installed near the church named in her honor, in the Northern district of the city.

Metropolitan Sergey of Voronezh and Borisoglebsk conducted the Divine Liturgy at the church dedicated to the holy ascetic. After the solemn service, the bishop, along with parishioners, circled the church in a procession. The construction of the church began in 1999 and is now complete.

The monument to St. Xenia of Petersburg was established thanks to the efforts of entrepreneurs from the Soborny market, located near the church. The sculpture was created by sculptor Andrei Terekhine.
