In 2011, a new attraction appeared in Krasnodar, a bronze sculpture of a young traveler.

According to the idea of Krasnodar sculptors Vladimir and Serafima Zolotukhins, this 25-year-old traveler has sat down to rest in the shade on his suitcase and is likely having a snack. He has released a cane umbrella from his hands and taken a juicy Kuban apple of the Delicious variety. However, captivated by the view around him, he forgot about the apple and began to curiously examine the surroundings, remaining in this position forever. Anyone can sit next to him on the edge of the large suitcase and admire the main street of Krasnodar. The main thing is not to linger too long to avoid turning to stone and to remember that Krasnodar has many other attractions worth seeing.

Initially, it was planned to install the bronze figure, which weighs 700 kilograms and is about two meters tall, near the bus station. However, due to the reconstruction of the building, another location had to be found. Ultimately, the monument was placed on Severny Street, which previously served as the boundary of Yekaterinodar, adding historical significance to it.

The sculpture also gave rise to a superstition: rubbing the left shoe of the "Guest" will bring good luck.
