Vladimir Budzinsky, a renowned Russian doctor, whose name is inextricably linked to the resort of Anapa. A monument dedicated to Vladimir Adolfovich has been erected on the Central Embankment of the city, becoming one of the most famous local monuments.

This monument was opened in honor of the centenary of the resort, popular in Russia. The statue depicts the doctor in a white coat: in one hand, he holds a bowl with healing water from the Semigorsk source, and in the other, a scroll. The scroll reads: "In addition to the wonderful climate, the healing resources of Anapa include sea bathing, mud from the local salt lake and mud volcanoes, sandy beaches, mountain climbing, healing grapes, goat milk, kefir."

Budzinsky became the pioneer of the resort by discovering the healing properties of Anapa's mud. He aimed to help people and prevent diseases. The doctor acquired land and established a mud treatment facility equipped with modern equipment and new treatment methods, including physiotherapy, galvanic mud, and galvanotherapy.

Additionally, Vladimir Budzinsky opened a sanatorium for children with bone-joint tuberculosis called "Bimlyuk" and a clinic "Luchezarnaya." These medical institutions became an important part of Anapa's health resorts, attracting tourists year-round.

Today, people from all over Russia come to the "Mayak" sanatorium to improve their health and relax at the Anapa resort, as well as to see the famous monument to Aibolit.
