On the western outskirts of the estate, near the modern treatment plant, there is a group of graves of domestic animals, dating from the late 19th and 20th centuries. These graves are grouped around a low stone monument dedicated to the tsar, a Russian wolfhound, which the Sutherland family, the owners of the estate, acquired in Moscow in the mid-19th century.
