The bust of Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova, an outstanding woman of the 18th century known for her encyclopedic education and advanced scientific achievements, has been installed in the center of the city. Dashkova is connected to Kremenki through her estate in the neighboring village of Troitskoye, where she was buried in the Troitsky Cathedral.

Princess Ekaterina Romanovna Dashkova, born Vorontsova, was born on March 17 (28), 1743, in St. Petersburg and died on January 4 (16), 1810, in Moscow. She was a close friend and associate of Catherine the Great and played a significant role in the palace coup of 1762 that brought Catherine II to the throne. Dashkova became the first woman of non-imperial descent to hold high state positions, such as director of the St. Petersburg Academy of Sciences and chair of the Russian Academy. She was an organizer and participant in the creation of the first explanatory dictionary of the Russian language, a lady-in-waiting at the Russian imperial court, and a prominent representative of the Russian Enlightenment. Additionally, Dashkova was a translator, journalist, writer, musician, and educator who had a significant impact on transforming absolute monarchy in Russia into an enlightened monarchy.
