The BA-64 is a Soviet light armored car from the World War II era. It was developed in July and December 1941, using the chassis of the all-wheel-drive GAZ-64 vehicle and relying on pre-war Soviet developments in all-wheel-drive armored vehicles. The experience gained from studying captured German vehicles was also taken into account. The BA-64 became the first serial all-wheel-drive armored car in the USSR and the only one adopted into service during the war. It was the last Soviet armored car of the classic type. From April 1942 to early 1946, 9,063 of these vehicles were produced.

Soviet forces actively used the BA-64 from the summer of 1942 until the end of the war, mainly for reconnaissance and infantry support. After the war, these armored cars were primarily used as training-combat vehicles and were phased out of service in the first half of the 1950s. The BA-64 was also supplied to Soviet ally countries and was used in small quantities by the Korean People's Army during the Korean War.
