In 2000, a monument to the poet was erected in Theater Square in Kursk, in front of the building of the drama theater named after A.S. Pushkin. The sculpture was created by Igor Minin, Nikolai Krivopalov, and Vladimir Bartenev. The monument rises on a high granite pedestal and depicts Pushkin in full height, dressed in a long cloak. The poet's gaze is directed into the distance, and a commemorative inscription is placed on the pedestal.
