The monument to Andrei Platonov is located in the center of Voronezh, on Revolution Avenue, opposite the building of Voronezh State University. It was installed in 1999. The monument was designed by architects I. P. Dikunov and E. N. Pak, who also created the monument to White Bim Black Ear. The sculpture depicts the writer in a long coat, walking against the wind, with the coat and hair blowing. On the right pylon behind the monument, a quote from the story "The Engineer's Wife" is engraved: "And without me, the people are not complete."
