This house was built in the early 20th century and belonged to the industrialist Lorensov, the owner of a ceramics factory.

According to G. Samigulov, in 1899, the peasant's daughter Praskovya Fedorovna Yudina purchased the house on Soldiers Street from the widow of a priest, Elena Stepanovna Avraamova. At that time, the house was numbered 12. The street, now called Krasnoarmeyskaya, was previously known as Soldiers Street south of Siberian (Truda) and north of Ilyinskaya. The numbering of houses began at the intersection of Soldiers and Siberian streets. On the plot bought by Yudina, there was a small house with two rooms, a cellar, a stable, and a shed for carts, all buildings were covered with iron.

By 1905, a wooden house with six rooms, clad in boards, appeared on Yudina's plot. In addition to the previous buildings, a laundry was added. Yudina's estate was the most expensive on this part of Soldiers Street and was valued at 1000 rubles. In 1916, the house still belonged to Yudina.

The one-story building is made of logs connected in a 'paw' style and stands on a low plinth of wild stone, faced with white stone on the facade. A high wall adjoins the house on the north side, protruding beyond the facade line. The house has the shape of a 'glagol' with a narrow rear wing, forming a single facade line on the southern side. The front part of the house is distinguished by three tall square towers with cubic roofs. Behind the central tower rises a lantern that illuminates the vestibule.

In the early 1990s, the building was restored: lost elements of the carved facade decor and external wall cladding were restored. At that time, the commercial firm 'Forum' was located in the building. Now it houses the regional state budget institution of culture 'Tourism Development Center of the Chelyabinsk Region.'
